Corfu
Green Island
Situated in the northwest of Greece, Corfu has a rich and fascinating history. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and feels like an outdoor museum. Striking monuments, unique museums and cultural centers make Corfu one of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan of Greek islands. On the other hand, Corfu boasts an incredible natural heritage consisting of lagoons, rivers, mountains, forests, a huge network of footpaths, dense vegetation supporting a biodiversity with hundreds of bird, wildflower and animal species unique to Corfu. World class beaches with crystal clear waters are just a stone throw away, while nightlife and a famous cuisine fascinate the unsuspecting visitor. The old and the new, the natural and the cultural co-exist in blended harmony and beauty.
